Wednesday - Cuernavaca Park - Week 1 Highlights
Punani Patrol vs. Pitches Be Crazy:
PP in pink came out "acting" like they knew what they were doing in this one!! Ok, ok, we're sure they've done this before!! Toe-Nee Lusk came up to kick in the top of the 1st inning with 2 on and showed us why it might be necessary to cover right field...as he smacked a liner that ended up scoring everyone including him - is that a home run?? We'll let Tony decide that one! Cornetet "don't forget" was also strong in this game with PP in pink by placing a perfect ball for an RBI single (man, that's a lot of P), then followed that later with a 2-run shot in the 6th...we're excited to have Jeff on this team! PBC's Casey Rebert got tired of the pink PP's and placed a nice ball in the gap for an RBI single, then later scoring to put 2 on the board!!! Chris Lathinghouse responded and put this one away with a 3-run shot for Punani...the lady started singing!! Punani Patrol wins 16-2.
Step Parents vs. Put It In The Bunt:
Step Parents got on board 1st in this one with fancy footwork and strategic base running in the top of the 3rd inning...SP, lookin' strong day 1!! PIITB answered right back with 3-runs of their own - kicked off by a David Bayouth RBI single. Bayouth followed up the next inning pitching and made all 3 outs - we all know that's near to impossible to do...lot's of street cred on that David, great pitching!! Put It may have had more scoring power but Step Parents' Miranda Burke made an unbelievable double play that we'd also give major street cred on...nice job Miranda! Step Parents added 1 more run in the top of the 6th inning to bring it to a 2 point differential but Bunt had 1 more to get in there!! Good 1st day displays by both teams!! Put It In The Bunt wins 5-2.
Memorial Ballpark - Week 1 Highlights
Bazinga vs. Jiminy Kick It:
The defending champs were back for another title run against an upstart JKI
team poised to make an early season statement to the rest of the league.
Bazingagot back into their all-star ways early, dropping a 3 spot in the top of
the 1st. JKI was faced with the tall task of playing from behind,
and the Bazinga defense did them no favors, keeping JKI off the scoreboard
through 3 innings. Bazinga called upon their offense again in the 4th,
going off for another 3 runs in some wild winds that particularly favored the
defenses. JKI was set to score their 1st run, but the winds took the
ball right into Bazinga’s defensive hands. Bazinga put a stake in JKI in the 5th,
with a 2 run shot to left to go up 8-0. JKI found the lone open spot in the
Bazinga defense in the 5th, bringing home 2 runs to break up the
shutout. JKI had one more shot in the 6th to tie or win the game,
however all 3 batters kicked it straight to the 1st baseman,
effectively ending their chances of a comeback. Bazinga wins, 8-2.
Left Shark vs. Brews on
First: Brews on First made their long anticipated return to GKB, while Left
Shark made their impactful debut. Left Shark used the tailwind to their
advantage early, bombing across 5 runs in the 1st. BOF wasn’t
impressed, as they used Left Shark’s idea against them, scoring 5 of their own.
The winds only got heavier, and it showed in 3 ground rule doubles by Left
Shark in the 2nd, bringing home 3 more to go up 8-5. BOF tried a
crosswind approach, but blasted the ball straight to the Left Shark defense.
Left Shark was able to scratch home a run in the 3rd, while BOF went
back to what they did in the 1st, and scored 3 to bring the score to
9-8 Left Shark. It looked like Left Shark had the game in the bag after a Grand
Slam with 2 outs put them up 13-8. But, not to be out done, BOF put 3 on the
board, not letting Left Shark get away yet.
Left Shark scored 1 in the 6th to go up 14-11 going into the
7th. Left Shark had seen enough, and put away BOF with a 10 run
thrashing to go up 24-11. BOF had some offense, but it wasn’t enough to
overcome Left Shark. Left Shark wins, 24-13
I’ll Cut a Pitch vs. Blue
Balls V: In a week 1 treat, we got 2 teams that knew each other very well. ICP
used the tailwind to drop balls all over the field, scoring 5 in the 1st.
BBV tried to strike back, but were turned away in the 1st. Pitching
took over in the game the rest of the way, with both teams unable to score in
the 2nd and 3rd. BBV got on the board in the bottom of
the 4th, streaking 3 runs home for a 5-3 contest. ICP retaliated
with a 3 spot in the 5th to go up 8-3. BBV was searching for offense
the rest of the way, while ICP was looking to keep their lead. Bottom of the 6th,
BBV was only able to convert 1 run home, bringing the score to 8-4. BBV had one
more shot at winning in the 7th, but a line drive to 3rd
and a throw out at 1st ended the game. I’ll Cut a Pitch wins, 15-5
Hashtag Balls vs. Pitches Be Crazy:
Both squads showed up refreshed from a long winter and ready for another great
season! Neither team was able to score in the 1st, but in the bottom
of the 2nd, PBC got an early jump in what would be a defensive battle with the
wind. A diving stop by Daniel Wylie stopped PBC cold in their cleats. PBC
eventually opened up the scoring in the bottom of the 3rd, rocking
home 3 runs to go up 3-0. #Balls pulled a fast one on PBC in the 4th,
bombing 4 runs across to go up 4-3. Bottom 5, PBC found another opening in
#Balls defense, scraping home 3 more runs to go up 6-4. Top 7, #Balls scored
one to lead off the inning to bring it to 6-5. PBC allowed 2 more baserunners,
but turned an amazing triple play to end the windblown battle. Pitches Be Crazy
wins, 6-5
Basic Pitches vs KickBallers:
BP and KB were both ready to make the best impression possible in a windy night
cap. BP struck early, driving home 2 in the top of the 1st. KB
wasn’t going to back down from a challenge, as they returned fire with a run of
their own. BP broke out the heavy hitters in the top of the 2nd,
scoring a massive 8 runs to go up 10-1. BP stayed on the offensive in the 3rd
and 4th, scoring 4 runs and keeping KB off the board to go up 15-1.
KB wouldn’t go down without a fight however, scoring 2 in the 5th.
KB had the bottom of the 7th to score as many as humanly possible,
but were stopped in their attempt after scoring 2 more. Basic Pitches wins, 15-5

Memorial Ballpark - Week 6 Highlights
Pitches Be Crazy vs. Kickboxing
Kickballers: In preparation for the Pikes Peak Cup, both teams knew it was
time to fine tune their skills. Both defenses were rock solid in the 1st, with
neither team scoring. PBC broke the scoreless tie in the second to go up 1-0. Beau
Kelly went into beast mode in the top of the 3rd and sent a shot to left center
for a 3 run HR. PBC would score 1 more in the inning, but an insane sliding
catch by Shane Kinkennon ended the inning. PBC wanted more, and got some with a
5 run outburst in the 4th to go up 10-0. KBKB got the dirt off their shoulders
and scored 2 in the bottom half. KBKB found a way to keep PBC off the base paths
in the 5th, while rallying offensively to put up another run. PBC eventually
pulled away on this night, scoring 4 in the 6th and 1 more in the 7th to put an
exclamation point on an astounding game. Pitches
Be Crazy wins, 15-3.
Super Eagles vs SchoolYard AllStars:
The SchoolYard AllStars came to the field full ready to piece together the perfect
playoff squad. The Super Eagles were shorthanded and couldn't field a full team,
giving SYAS the win by forfeit. The scrimmage that ensued, however, was so
storybook-like that we just had to record the highlights! SYAS was able to get
out to an early 1-0 lead in the 1st. The Super Eagles responded in the best way
possible, with the father/son combo of Kevin and Emmerich Leonardo scoring runs
in the top of the 2nd. SYAS was flabbergasted but able to regain their
composure and score 2 in the bottom half thanks to a Matt Boggs bomb. SYAS squeezed
a run out in the 4th. The Super Eagles needed runs, and thanks to some
handy recruits for the next game on hand, were able to erase the deficit! The Super Eagles scored 1 in the 6th, but the SYAS scrimmage squad stayed
resilient and scraped across the game winning run. SchoolYard AllStars wins, 3-0 (forfeit)
Saved By The Ball vs Bazinga: All
season long, it’s been no secret that Bazinga hopes to end this season with
another championship. This passionate drive sure did show in the 1st
inning, when they scored a massive 7 runs, thanks to a 3 run triple by Craig
Duncan. Matt Howes wanted to make sure Saved By the Ball wouldn't strike back,
converting an unassisted double play to end the top of the 2nd. Bazinga kept
the pedal to the metal with one run in the 2nd, 4 runs in the 3rd and another
in the 4th to go up 13-0. SBTB just couldn’t handle the idea of a Bazinga
shutout – luckily, an overthrow in the top of the 5th gave SBTB the chance to
get a run in. Michael Spekhardt used that momentum, and nailed a sensational
diving catch to end Bazinga’s 5th inning. Michael turned his defensive
intensity into offensive power with a solo shot in the 6th. SBTB had one last pop,
and scratched across 3 more runs in the 7th. Bazinga wins, 13-5.
CareCore vs Lights Out: CareCore came out
with a roster of 7, as compared to a fully loaded Lights Out. Lights Out put up
an early run in the 1st and used their defense to preserve the lead. Braylon
Adams had other ideas for CareCore, sending a solo shot to right field to knot
the game up in the top of the 3rd. Seeing that infuriated Lights Out and they
went off for 3 runs in the bottom of the 4th. Wes Wilhelm was on the mound for
Lights Out and struck out CareCore in the 5th, then proceeded to kick an
opposite foot solo home run to bolster their lead. CareCore made a valiant effort, but Lights
Out took home the win. Lights Out wins, 3-0
(forfeit)
Hangin With Patch Adams vs. Chocolate Sensation: Hangin With Patch Adams hoped
to get another statement win, while Chocolate Sensation was clinging to the top
seed coming in to Week 6. Chocolate Sensation came out of the gates firing on all
cylinders, scoring 4 runs in the 1st. Demetrius Harris was on the mound for Chocolate Sensation and made Hangin With Patch Adams look a little silly with a brutal combo of pitches, forcing Hangin With Patch Adams hitless through 2. Chocolate Sensation was solid on offense too, scoring 2 more to
go up 6-0. Harris wasn't letting anything get to him, as another 1-2-3 inning
for Hangin With Patch Adams made it 3 innings of no-hit kickball. Chocolate Sensation added 2 more in the 3rd and 4 runs in the 4th to go up 12-0, with the no-hitter
still intact. Jimmy Sheehan of Chocolate Sensation made 2 spectacular plays to keep Demetrius' no
hitter alive, and added the dagger run with a solo shot in the 5th to go up
13-0. In the top of the 7th, Hangin With Patch Adams hadn’t given up
hope – The 2nd kicker bunts
one down the line and it stays fair, ending the no-hitter at approximately the
6 1/3 inning! Chocolate Sensation wins
13-0.

Memorial Ballpark - Week 5 Highlights
Lights Out vs. Kickboxing Kickballers:
As the regular season draws closer to the end, these teams have one goal in
mind: solidify their playoff position. Lights Out rocked the KBKB defense for 6
runs in just the first inning! KBKB responded with a bloop single RBI to get on
the board. Defenses were in playoff form as a fantastic double play in the top
of the second by KBKB kept the Lights Out offense off the board. Wes Wilhelm was
impressive as always on the mound, fanning the KBKB batters in the 2nd and 3rd.
KBKB used an extremely rare Lights Out error in the bottom of the 4th to bring
home their second run of the game. John Arroyo decided to ice the game
singlehandedly, booting a skyrocket RBI triple in the 6th to keep Lights Out in
the W column. Lights Out wins, 7-2.
Bazinga vs SchoolYard AllStars: Bazinga
returned to playoff form this week with SYAS bringing an unparalleled defensive
game this week. These teams went blow for blow on defense, with Bazinga
starting the game with a 4-3 double play and keeping the All Stars off the
basepath. Matt Sayar of SYAS sangged the 1st out of the bottom of the 1st with
a diving catch of his own. Bazinga would later score in the inning. Double
plays were in the deck for Bazinga as they pulled a little deja vu on SYAS in
the 2nd. Bazinga went to their soft kitty (dressed as pumpkins) scoring spree
and racked up 4 runs in the 2nd. SYAS was kept quiet for most of the game and
hoped to keep Bazinga contained, but a 2 run 4th and an inside the park HR in the
5th catapulted Bazinga to a powerful 8-0 lead. Mason Boggs came through as the
savior for SYAS with an incredible home run in the 6th. Inspired by Masons well
doing, Katie Fransioli made an emphatic outfield catch to keep Bazinga in
check. Bazinga wins, 8-1.
Pitches Be Crazy vs Chocolate Sensation:
Pitches Be Crazy was able to keep Chocolate Sensation off the board in the 1st
while taking advantage of kicks into the gap and scoring 3 early runs. CS was
sensing pressure from a stout PBC squad and again were turned away in the 2nd.
Bo Kelly made his return in week 5and blasted a lunar shot to left center field
to cap a 2 run 2nd, 5-0 PBC. CS wasn't about to go down without a fight, yet
PBC stonewalled them again in the 3rd, while adding another run for themselves,
6-0 PBC. CS wasn’t in familiar territory and knew they needed a spark. They
found the weak link in the PBC defensive armor and brought home 2 in the 4th.
Penny Whisenhunt was a motivated woman for CS and made a Willie Mays outfield
catch to put PBC on notice. In the end, the PBC defense prevailed as CS wasn't
able to bring home any more runs. Pitches
Be Crazy wins, 6-2.
Saved By The Ball vs Super Eagles: On paper, these teams are about even in every
aspect, which made this game even more intriguing. Saved By the Ball went back
in time to the 80's, while the Super Eagles channeled their inner Peyton
Manning AND Tim Tebow. The Eagles went to work in the 1st, putting together a
great scoring drive and getting 6 on the board. SBTB was able to turn a double
play on the bottom of the 2nd to keep the Eagles off the board. SBTB turned
into offense in the 3rd as they scratched 1 run across. The Eagles weren't
happy as they converted on a 2 run double to go up 8-1. All was good
defensively in the 4th as neither team was able to score, but from the 5th
inning on, it was a different story. Bottom of the 5th, and the Eagles solidified
their lead as Chris Vinley blasted a grand slam to seal an 8 run 5th,
increasing their lead to 16-1. The 6th inning saw a lot of the same (and a lot
of Tebowing) as the Eagles used a lethal combo of short bunts and long bombs to
put up 12 runs, which made a big lead even bigger. SBTB hoped to regain some
offense in the 7th and were able to slide 1 across before the game ended. Super Eagles win 28-2.
CareCore vs Hangin With Patch Adams: Hangin
With Patch Adams came to the field ready to make a push for the playoffs, but CareCore
wasn't able to field a team. Hangin With
Patch Adams wins 3-0.

Memorial Ballpark - Week 4 Highlights
KickBoxing KickBallers vs CareCore: CareCore
wasn't able to field a team this week. KickBoxing
Kickballers wins 3-0.
Lights Out vs Hangin with Patch Adams:
Lights Out and Hangin with Patch Adams entered week 4 looking to bolster their
post season positioning. LO put a 3 spot up on HPA in the top of the 1st. HPA
went up to the plate with smiles but were set down 1-2-3 in the 1st AND the
2nd. Top 3, still a 3-0 LO lead, and John Arroyo sends the ball to deep
centerfield, and thanks to his speed, beats the throw home for a 3 run home
run. LO belted home 2 more in the inning to go up 8-0. Wes Wilhelm and company
kept the defense rolling and had a no hitter through 3 innings. HPA was able to
keep LO off the board in the 4th, however, their primary focus was to get on
base. LO was still in a no hit bid, until a dribbler down the 3rd base line and
a photo close play at first broke the shut out! HPA pulled off a sensational
diving catch in centerfield to keep LO from a scoring streak in the 5th. HPA was
able to convert on an overthrow at 1st to get a run in the bottom of the 5th,
but LO would get the final say in this game, as a single run in the 6th spelled
victory. Lights Out wins, 10-1.
Saved By The Ball vs SchoolYard AllStars:
Both teams came into the week refreshed and ready to bash some red ball!!! SYAS
scored a quick 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st. The 2nd inning was quiet for
both teams, but the 3rd had fireworks. SYAS wanted to solidify a win early, and
appeared to do so by scoring an enormous 8 runs in the inning to go up by 10.
SBTB searched for answers and were able to respond with a run of their own in
the 4th to at least get on the board. The game went quiet on offense until the
6th inning. SYAS put the exclamation point on the game as they scored 2 more in
the 6th. But SBTB is not one to just lay down, as they were able to scratch 3 more
runs at the end. SchoolYard AllStars wins,
12-4.
Super Eagles vs Chocolate Sensation: Both
teams were coming off wins last week and wanted to build a streak. The Eagles
struck 1st with a run in the 1st. Chocolate Sensation answered back with 3 in
the bottom of the 1st. The Eagles kept their composure and scored another in
the 2nd to close the gap to 1. CS wanted to break away, and were able to get 2
runs across. The Eagles were silenced in the 3rd, but weren't able to stop CS
from scoring 3 more to go up 8-2. CS went soaring high in the bottom of the 4th
as they sent a 7 run flurry down upon the Eagles to go up 15-2. The Eagles weren’t
about to go down without a fight as they mustered another run in the 6th. CS
put the finishing touches on the game with 5 more runs in the 6th. Chocolate Sensation wins, 20-4.
Pitches Be Crazy vs Bazinga: Bazinga experienced
their first loss in 2 seasons last week, so with that as momentum, they showed
up to the field with a vengeance. Bazinga quickly put the loss behind them, with
3 runs scored in the 1st. They struck again in the 2nd, but PBC
wasn't going to give up the game that easily, and they were able to get a 2 run
boot to put the game at 4-2. Bazinga went back on offense, or thought they
were, but a Brianne Fatavella’s impressive line drive catch stopped them in their
tracks. PBC scored 3 critical runs and went up by 1. Bazinga used an array of
hits, belted 3 more runs in to reestablish the lead 7-5. Keith Hausam’s Grand
Slam capped off a 5 run 6th, and solidified the win for Bazinga. Bazinga wins, 12-5.

Memorial Ballpark - Week 2 Highlights
Saved by the Ball vs Hanging with Patch
Adams: Hanging with Patch Adams had high hopes for their first win, while a
Saved by the Ball win would keep them perfect in the night cap. SBB scored an
easy run in the top of the 1st, but they had no idea what HPA was about to
spring on them. The bottom half of the 1st inning brought in an incredible 7
runs for HPA! SBB stayed calm, stuck to their offense, and scratched another
one home to make it a 7-2 contest. HPA was still out of breath from their 1st
inning assault and were unable to score in the 2nd. SBB was held off the board
in the 3rd and that spelled trouble. HPA regained their composure and lit up
the night sky with an 8 run 3rd to go up 15-2. SBB didn’t give up and they
scored another in the 4th. HPA had used up all their gas on offense, and went
into prevention mode the rest of the game. SBB used every trick in the book,
however it was HPA’s night on week 2. Hanging
with Patch Adams wins, 15-3.
KickBoxing KickBallers vs Chocolate
Sensation: KickBoxing KickBallers knew they were up against the veteran
squad of Chocolate Sensation and came in with all they had. CS’s Mike Longton
annihilated a 3 run HR to cap off a 4 run bottom of the 1st. KBKB was able to
get a few runners on base, but with Demetrius Harris owning the strike zone,
KBKB was left scoreless. Bottom of the 3rd, still 4-0, and Penny Whisenhunt
blasted a 2 run triple to right field to spark a 3 run burst to give CS a 7-0
lead. Kyle Shelhammer of KBKB was done with seeing a 0 for them, and was able to
boot a 2 run HR to left center to get on the board. CS answered back with 2 of
their own but were stonewalled by a Sportscenter Top 10 diving catch by Andre
D'Amour to keep the game at 9-2. CS was solid on defense, not allowing KBKB
fully back in to the game and racking up another run in the 6th. KBKB had one
more inning to get into the game, but Penny Whisenhunt’s diving catch held off
the rally. Chocolate Sensation wins,
10-2.
Super Eagles vs Pitches Be Crazy: The
Super Eagles were the 1st to strike on offense, putting 2 on the board in the
top of the 2nd. Pitches Be Crazy knew they needed to keep the game within reach
if they wanted to come out on top. Super
Eagles flew 2 more runs in to go up 4-0. PBC answered back by blasting 6 runs
home in the 3rd. Super Eagles went back on the offensive and drove 1 home to
cut the lead to 1. PBC scored 1 to counter, but were denied more thanks to an
inning ending double play. PBC worked over the Super Eagles offense and denied
them any runs in the 5th, while they added on 2 insurance runs to go up 9-5.
Super Eagles kept the game close all night long, but not close enough. Pitches Be Crazy wins, 9-5.
Lights Out vs SchoolYard AllStars: Lights
Out was on the board early with 3 fast and furious runs in the top of the 1st.
SchoolYard AllStars attempts to score were turned away by 2 pop outs and a
strikeout. Lights Out kept ‘em coming and booted 2 more across in the 2nd. SYAS
was having trouble figuring out Wes Wilhelm's pitching, as nothing major
connected for SYAS in the 2nd. However, in the 3rd, thanks in part to a drop in
the infield, SYAS was able to scratch a run home while keeping LO off the
board. Wes Willhelm shot back with a 2 run triple in the top of the 4th to go
up by 9. SYAS stayed consistent on offense, and scored another run to cut LOs
lead to 8. Top 7, LO hoped to get one more run home, but Matt Sayar of SYAS
turned a solo double play to keep LO from doing so. Lights Out wins, 11-3.
CareCore vs Bazinga: Bazinga welcomed
CareCore to the league by hammering home 7 runs in the bottom of the 1st. CareCore
was throttled but stayed resilient, putting runners on in the 2nd, but Matt Howes
denied them any chance to score. Bazinga seemed unsatisfied with the score, as
they drove home 2 more in the 2nd to go up 9-0. CareCore used a good combo of
bunts and line drives to get on base, but again were unable to break the shut
out. Bazinga used their defense and converted it into offense again in the 3rd
for 4 runs. CareCore’s Kiesha made a sensational catch to end Bazingas offense
cold. Using this as motivation, CareCore finally got on the board in the 5th to
end the shut out. Bazinga was not happy with giving up a run, and it showed as CareCore
struck again in the 6th for 2 more runs while holding off Bazinga. CareCore was
looking like they stole Bazingas momentum, as 2 outfield catches kept Bazinga
off the scoreboard again. CareCore had their hearts set on a major rally, and
were able to get 2 more across in the 7th, but then Bazinga said no more. Bazinga wins 13-5.

Memorial Ballpark - Week 1 Highlights
Bazinga vs Lights Out: The fall season took of with 2 heavyweights going at it. Wes Wilhelm was back on the mound for Lights Out to make a statement early in the year. Bazinga had other plans, as Bazinga dropped a 2 spot on Lights Out in the bottom of the 1st. Matt Bowes for Bazinga managed to keep Lights Out from crossing home plate. Bottom of the 3rd, still a 2-0 game, and Bazinga sent a ball deep into Mathew Atwood territory - his incredible falling catch kept the game close. Bottom 4, now it was Wes' turn for a diving catch to preserve the 2 run game. A force out in the 7th spelled victory for Bazinga. Bazinga wins, 2-0
Super Eagles vs Kickboxing Kickballers: In the 2nd of the early games, we had an array of streaks, both hot and cold. The Super Eagles were the first to strike and scored 1 in the bottom half of the 1st. KBKB blasted a 3-run burst in the 2nd, The Eagles went on to put runners on the corners, but KBKB stood firm and allowed none. KBKB wasn't done on offense though, as they tallied 3 more in the 3rd to go up 6-1. The Eagles used a defensive shift for the 4th and it worked as they let only 2 get by that inning. The
Eagles needed offense in a hurry, and KBKB kept them at bay through 5 while they racked up another run in the 5th. The Eagles had seen enough, and thanks to a defensive glitch, were able to score one in the 6th to cut the game to 9-2. KBKB put the exclamation point on the game, putting up double digit offense, and holding the Eagles to 1 in the 7th. Kickboxing Kickballers wins, 10-3
Schoolyard AllStars vs Chocolate Sensation: Chocolate Sensation was looking to avenge last seasons semifinal performance while a new SchoolYard AllStar squad was making its first appearance. CS went to work early on the young SYAS team as they scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st. SYAS had a power boot in the 2nd that looked like it'd never come down. Penny Wainwright on the other hand had different ideas, making the deep outfield catch to preserve the shutout. CS went back to work on offense, scoring 2
in the bottom frame to go up 5-0. Top 3, and SYAS still steadily trying to break CS' defense, but Mike Longton makes a highlight reel over the shoulder grab to end the 3rd inning unscathed. Demetrius Harris was working on a gem for the season opener and did not disappoint, keeping SYAS scoreless through 5 while boosting CS lead to 9. SYAS had seen the light in the CS defense, and exposed it for all its worth, scoring 4 runs in the top of the 6th. It would've been more, yet Mr. Harris kicked the ball to the 1st baseman to get the final out in the 6th. Chocolate Sensation wins, 9-4
Hangin With Patch Adams vs Pitches Be Crazy: Pitches Be Crazy comes back this season looking to build on last season's progress, as Hangin With Patch Adams was welcomed as another new face in the league. PBC got the show started thanks to a 2 run shot by Bo Kelly in the top of the 1st. HPA fired right back and put one up on the board. Thanks to a chest deflect and catch, PBC were held up. Top 3, 2-1 PBC, and Bo Kelly strikes again, with yet another 2 run HR. That's quickly followed up by a Ryan Patterson 2 run HR to extend the lead 6-1. HPA would not lay down for PBC, as they ran over people on their way to a 2 run 3rd to condense the game to 6-3. Some critical catches, held PBC to 1 run in the 4th. The game got defensive as no one could scratch across a run in the 5th. Top 6, and you remember that Bo Kelly guy? He does it again in the 6th, sending a solo shot to the dirt. Not to be outdone, Hannah represents the women on PBC with a 2 run HR to put PBC up 10-3. Top of the 7th, and HPA was trying to hold off the floodgates. Bo Kelly came back up to the plate with 2 on, and with his best kick of the night, he hit a 3 run HR (that ball may actually still be flying somewhere). HPA said their prayers and popped some vitamins, but couldn't put up anymore runs. Pitches Be Crazy wins, 19-3
Saved By The Ball vs CareCore: Saved By The Ball was looking to have a great season debut, however CareCore was unseen on the field or parking lot. Saved By The Ball wins by forfeit, 3-0
