After School Special vs. Kevin Bacon:
Both teams started their scoring in the 2nd inning with After School scoring 2 and Kevin answering with 1. ASS scored 2 more in the top of the 3rd inning and from their simply sat down with lock down defense. Kevin was only able to get 1 more run in the rest of the game since ASS was all over them. Bacon even had a chance to score more in the bottom of the 5th inning when ASS made a leaping catch to keep runners from scoring...ASS is good!! After School Special wins 4-2.
Star Spangled Hammered vs. Untouchaballs:
Welp, the hardest part in this game was keeping score!!! We felt like we were back on track by the 5th inning after moving on past 1 referee and getting another seasoned in. Boy oh boy...it ain't easy being a referee...thanks for your patience!! We agreed the score to be 4-2 to start the 5th inning and at the end of the 7th inning it was the same score!! With a little lock-down D and stellar pitching, neither team could record a run so we finished where we started!! Untouchaballs win 4-2.
Booze on First vs Shinobi Dragon Ninja:
Michael Mazzone got Booze on First, first with a 2 RBI smackaroo and a 2-0 lead. Lost Prophet's, Jesse Irvin answered in the bottom of the 3rd with an RBI, then the team followed with another run in the bottom of the 4th inning to make this one a tie ball game!! Shinobi had a chance to score more but Booze put down the beer for a second and made an unbelievable double play to keep runs from scoring. Starting in the 5th inning Booze put in special video game codes and scored 7 runs in 2 innings thanks in part to a 3-run shot by Evan Constan. Shinobi simply didn't know the up-down up-down left-right-left start toggle code and was unable to answer. Booze on First wins 9-2.
Hose Dragers vs. My Balls Just Dropped:
Even Hose Draggers couldn't have put out their own fire power in the first two innings in this one...Hose scored 5 runs in the 1st two innings and took a commanding lead. Allstar pitcher, Tao Nguyen, and gold glove winner, Alex Patterson came through for MBJD with a solo shots however MBJD were only able to plate 3 in this one. Hose Draggers 7-3.
Ballsagna vs. Roshambo:
If you haven't heard the news, well that's why we're here!! Front runner for MVP of the Sunday Funday crew is Steve Berglund and he only added more points to the MVP pile this weekend. Steve pitched a shutout against the high-octane offense of Ballsagna AND had 4 strikeouts...WOW!! Steve, we gotta give it to you homie...they may be changing the game of kickball because of you!! Nuff said - mic drop. Roshambo wins 2-0.
