Step Parents vs. Pitches Be Crazy:
By far, the play of the game in this one was from Alison "no name" ???'s RBI kick to right field with the bases loaded that scored one and put PBC on the board!! Not until Wee Katie's were we able to learn about the gal behind this miraculous shot and learned that she DID have a last name...deLassus...we'll publish it here...but please keep that name on the DL!! Just possibly cooler, but we're not sure - you decide - were the 20 runs Step Parents put up in 4 innings of chilly, wind-to-your-back weather...ok, we're sure...Step Parents brought out the backhands in this one for sure...crazy pitches. Tom Welsh had a 2 RBI single top 2, Chris Loupee followed that with a 2-run homer, Jake Simpson had a solo shot in the top of 3 and Dan Welsh followed that with a 3-run homer in the same inning. What was listed there was a total of 8 runs...they scored 20...you get the point! Backhanders win 20-1.

Punani Patrol vs. Put It In The Bunt
There are many ESPN analysts that feel like this could be THE potential championship matchup in The 5280 Cup. The game could not have been better, although we wish the weather would not have been fa fa F'ing freezing!! Bunt came out fast in this one scoring in the bottom of the 1st inning yet Punani answered right back in the top of the 2nd to score 1...so tied 1-1. Defense from both of these teams are getting progressively better from already being top 5 in the league. Jeff Cornetet's pitching is malfunctioning neuron transmitters kicker after kicker and yet, Bunt was able to go up by 1 scoring in the bottom of the 4th inning with aggressive base running. Punani answered in the 6th and this one went into extra's. Right out the gate Punani had base runners in the top of the 8th and squeaked in a run to take a 3-2 lead going into the bottom of the 8th inning. Bunt had an opportunity to score at the plate but Punani put on a relay throwing clinic and made the play to seal this one up. Either way, great game for both teams. Punani Patrol wins 3-2.
