Hose Draggers (red) vs. Ballsagna (light blue):
Sunday Funday started off with a real ball buster. Hose Draggers "literally" kicked off the scoring in the top of the first with Mr. Frank Capobianco slamming in a homer! Ballsagna answered back in the bottom of the first to match them 1-1. Both teams decided they couldn't...wouldn't... have a shootout, so they put the "D" in overdrive to slow the game down, resulting in no scoring for the second and third innings. Derek Keeton had a booming triple in the fourth to bring in a run, then Ballsagna's Matt "Balls On Ya Shirt" responded with a 2-run homer in the bottom of the inning to close it out 3-2. In the 5th, The Keeton Brothers, Derek and Dwayne, along with Mr. Capobianco, got down and dirty to end their top of the inning with 6. Ballsagna came back at them in the bottom of the inning with 2 runs, then tied it up in the sixth with another 2 runs. Unfortunately for Ballsagna, they couldn't keep up with the deep kicks of Hose Draggers, as they pounded in another 2 runs in the top of the seventh then held Ballsagna scoreless for the remainder of the game. Hose Draggers Wins 8-6.

Banzai Lightning (yellow) vs. Gone Rogue (royal blue):
Gone Rogue really went all out for Theme Week, but it was hard to keep track of these Waldo's!!! This was a defensive game through and through. Both teams put points on the board in the first inning, but it sure did slow down after that. The first offensive highlight of the game came from Banzai's Chris Shires when he kicked a 1-run RBI in the fourth to put them ahead 3-2. Heading in to the sixth, Banzai still held the lead and was able to extend it to 5-2 (some may say this was due to a bad call by the ref - we'll defer to the experts in New York on that one.) Gone Rogue made a valiant comeback effort with an amazing catch by 3rd baseman Jeremy Burke followed by another run scored, but it wasn't enough to find a win. Banzai Lightning Wins 5-3.
Cuernavaca Park Field 3 (10:00AM)
Mile High Club (gold) vs. Fresh Kicks of Ball Air (green):
Fresh Kicks is usually the team to put the "Fun" in Sunday Funday, and this week was no different. They kept it fresh and ended the first inning with a strong lead of 3-0. In the top of the second, Tack pulled the trigger and hurled the ball for an incredible 2nd out. Mile High Club responded in the bottom of the second with some hardcore defense and an out-of-this-world pitching display from Ashley Velleg, who shut down Fresh's hopes of continuing their scoring streak. In the top of the fourth, Fresh's Kim had a sweet snag at home plate to keep Mile High scoreless. It wasn't until the sixth inning that Mile High finally got to scratch one on the board, but that was their only run of the game and couldn’t compete with the intensity of Fresh Kicks. Fresh Kicks of Ball Air Wins 8-1.
