Ballieving started this show with an offensive explosion in the bottom of the first inning. They would load the bases and then send Mike Huelskamp to the plate. He would Ballieve his way to booting a two RBI double. His team would muster three other runs for a total of five (I'll try and keep the math simple for those that are a little slow). Ballieving would add to their lead in the bottom of the third with two more runs (7-0). After a scoreless fourth inning, Stache's Jimmy Haluska tried his very best to spark some offense but unfortunately a solo HR is only worth one run. (7-1) Ballieving would answer with two runs in the bottom of the 5th and one in the bottom of the 6th. Don't Stop Ballieving wins 10-1.
Rubber Balls and Liquor vs. Banzai Lightning:
Balls took an early lead after Lauren Dekker got on base. She worked her way around to third and then the Balls sent Tyler Licausi to the plate. He pelted a sacrifice bunt that would push Lauren across the plate and give them a 1-0 lead. The next scoring wouldn't occur until the top of the 3rd inning. Balls got a two run single from Robert Jaeger and extended their lead to 3-0. Banzai finally got some offense going in the bottom of the 3rd inning with a Justin Spanbauer triple that scored one run and then he scored on a throwing error. This cut the lead to 3-2. After some good defense in the top of the 4th inning Banzai would tie the game at three in the half of the inning. Balls answered in the top of the 5th by getting Stephanie all the way to third. Robert Jaeger would then go to the plate and blast a deep ball that would be caught. Stephanie forgot to tag but got lucky and scored on a bad throw by Banzai. Banzai shock off that bad play and scored two runs in the bottom of the 5th inning (5-4). Then the nail in the coffin was a solo HR by Tory Wood in the bottom of the 6th inning. Banzai Lightning wins, 6-4.
Ball so Hard vs. Flour Power:
Hard scored five runs in the top of 1st inning and never looked back. Flour worked up one run in the bottom of the 1st inning but that would be it for them. Flour did get some good defense in the top of the 2nd inning. Thomas got the ball and secured the out at second base and then turned and hustled home to lock down another out for a pretty stellar double play. In the top of the 4th inning, Hard got a two run triple by Doug Talley. Hard scored a bunch of runs in this one and the last one I'll mention was from Will Kent. He booted a RBI single in the top of the 6th inning. Ball so Hard wins, 13-1.
Alcoballics vs. Grit
The Ballics came into the top of the first inning ready to kick. They were able to score three runs and take the early lead. Grit would eventually tie this game up at three in the bottom of the third. Then Grit took off and blew this game wide open with five runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Alcoballics must have really spent themselves in the 1st inning because they were only able to score one more run in the top of the 4th inning. Grit on the other hand put up a total of 11 runs. Zach was responsible for driving in four of those runs. Grit wins 11-4.
